I just hope it’s more like the old Star Trek series....TNG....DS9, Voyager. None of the series or movies since the last TNG crew movie have done anything for me...

It’s hard to compare the hype for these two, on the other hand we have a car I’ve waited so very long for, on the other hand, a continuation of one of my favorite shows of all time.

A fair point, but what little I’ve heard of the plot so far intrigues me  so I’m cautiously optimistic. Plus the TNG nostalgia is strong

I’m going to cut the cord and ditch satellite to save money. But then I’ll have to pay for so many different streaming services that I’ll be paying the same amount that I was.
